Le Pôle de Recherches sur l’Océanie – The Oceania Research Project (PROTORP) is a multilingual research and analysis hub for anyone interested in geopolitics in Oceania.
PROTORP enables knowledge exchange across linguistic divides (initially primarily English and French) so as to deepen understanding of whole of region issues. Based at
CÉRIUM, Université de Montréal, it is a non-partisan, independent hub, with the ultimate goal of spurring informed research, analysis and discussion about this dynamic
region – a region that makes up around 1/6th of the planet’s surface.
PROTORP was made possible by funding from the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.
