- 1) Since 2003, the Solomon Islands Assistance Mission, composed of 15 states, has supported the restoration and maintenance of political and civil order, as well as stability and regional security.
- 2) The Solomon Islands is a source and destination country for men, women and children from South Asia, who are victims of forced labor and forced prostitution. Efforts have been made to combat human trafficking: the Government has drafted a plan; once implanted, it could significantly reduce human trafficking. Nevertheless, there is a lack of understanding of human trafficking, making it difficult for the government to reduce it.
